Hele Road Baptist Church is a warm, welcoming, and outward-looking fellowship based in the Hele area of Torquay—one of the three towns that make up the beautiful English Riviera (Torbay) in South Devon.

Our pastor, Rev. Tim Smith, has faithfully served our church family since September 2007.

Our heart is to be a meaningful source of spiritual, emotional, and practical support within our community—helping people to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and grow into mature, fulfilled followers of Christ.
Our mission: “Moving Forward Together with God.”

We offer a crèche and a variety of activities for children and young people during our Sunday morning service, so there's something for every age.

Hele Road Baptist Church is a charitable unincorporated association and a member of the Baptist Union of Great Britain. The Church is an excepted charity and is not currently required to register with the Charity Commission for England and Wales; consequently, it does not have a Charity Commission registration number.

Our principal charitable purpose is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. Through worship, teaching, pastoral care, community activities, work with children and young people, mission and charitable social action, we seek to serve our local community and beyond.
